Cryptanthus Florence Wasley     C. "Florence Wasley" is a Striking plant, a cross of C."Madame Ganna Walska" x C. "Cascade", this plant is large, mostly  symmetrical and flattens when it blooms to reveal white flowers at it's centre ( surprise ! ) and when well fed,  produces large quantities of offsets from leaf axil and from stolons at the base of the plant.  This particular plant delivered 17 pups ( whew! )  This plant was hybridised by Grace Goode, and named after her sister.  There is also a darker, mostly red form of this plant.     Cryptanthus Online - October 1997
