Outcare has a wide variety of opportunities available for volunteers, below are some that are clearly needed

ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT, CLERICAL SUPPORT, VARIOUS.

Quite a few of Outcare's programs have some admininistrative and clerical needs which would suit a volunteer wanting to do a few hours per week.

DRIVER, FOOD PICKUP AND DELIVERY.

Outcare has a number of crisis care accommodation places consisting of single and shared units for both male and female ex offenders. The accommodation program relies upon volunteers to assist with the delivery of food to our clients.The volunteer would be required to collect food from the Foodbank, make up food parcels and deliver them to clients in Outcare's accommodation. You would need to have a drivers licence and be available every second fortnight for one day between the hours of 9.30-3.00. Full induction and support would be provided. LIBRARY ESTABLISHMENT AND MAINTENANCE

Outcare Administration is seeking the assistance of a volunteer with library cataloging and MS Excel experience to assist in organizing a small historical and resource library.The position is located in its head office at 27 Moore Street, East Perth, not far from the McIvor Station. Some of the work has already been done by a previous volunteer who can do a handover.This is a short term position and days/hours can be flexible within office hours to suit the applicant. MAINTENANCE, ACCOMMODATION PROGRAM

Outcare has a number of crisis accommodation places consisting of single and shared units for both male and female ex offenders. We have a maintenance person but the size of the program means it relies upon volunteers to assist with maintaining a good standard of housing for our clients. The role of the volunteer is varied but primarily focuses on general maintenance and repairs to the units. This includes replacing door handles, re hanging cupboard doors, changing locks, some lawn mowing and cleaning etc. Outcare is looking for dedicated and reliable individuals who would be interested in contributing to maintaining good standards within our units.
