Maximum Carnage!
Lack of disposition today, so yeah, no song...
[\Car"nage\, n. Great destruction of life, as in battle; bloodshed; slaughter; massacre; murder; havoc]
Since I have a section for the cartoon/character heros that I'd wanna be if I were a cartoon (hmmm... not very rational sounding... anyways), I thought I'd have a post about my most admired fictional villain - Carnage.
I could not think of a better name for a villain. He's from the Spider-man comics and is actually a symbiote. The human form is Serial killer Cletus Kasady. A mental patient deemed untreatable. When merged with an alien symbiotic life-form sporned from Venom* he becomes Carnage!
Just like in nature a shark is the perfect predator**, Carnage is the perfect fictional villain with more strength and faster than Spider-Man, better webby stuff, and ability to shape-shift his limbs.
Perfect villain with a perfect name... sweeeeeet...
Now if only they'd put him and Venom in the next Spidey movie.
* another Spidey villain, sybiote merged with ex-cop Eddie Brock. Both person and symbiote have a raging hate for Spider-man
** able to sense the electronic pulses in the nervous system of other creatures, and smell 1 drop of blood in a million litres of water

Snow report
A song to personify my disposition: Zhen Xin Zhen Yi (Andy Hui)
Top 10 Moments of Insanity
10. Boarding at high temps - Got a stomach bug on the last day, and was feeling a bit feverish, but yeah, went boarding anyway, dun think it did my body and good though
9. Rolling through the trees - Good snow fall means good powder. Not good however when front of board gets stuck in powder, cause Yang goes flying and then tumbling
8. Underestimated ledge drop - Hmmmm... I swear the ledge looked shorter and less steap from the chair lift, obviously not so when you're in mid air trying to figure where the ground just went
7. Butt slide grind rail - Tried to do a board slide, board slipped from under me and I slid the rest of the rail on my butt, good thing I have been blessed with a fat ass.
6. Stuck atop a mine field - Got on the wrong chair lift and ended up on the obscure side of Thredbo with not many people and insanely high velocity winds; surrounded by steap, icy, deep moguls. NOT a good combination
5. Adventure @ Rock Garden The name of the run says it all, and there's a great reason why it's a black run too, as I discovered whilst I glared down from atop a rocky outcrop wondering how I'd get down without being picked up at the bottom by the Westpac rescue helicopter
4. Face plant mogul field - Moguls are a snowboarder's nightmare, especially when your board gets caught and u go flying head first down the mountain and you can't stop cause its so steap
3. Double back flip - After stacking off a jump marked by orange warning poles I decided to flip myself back up, unfortunately I kept flipping
2. Face plant grind rail - Not enough speed, board got stuck, body kept going. Get the picture? Fortunate for me that I am adept at stacking of rails
1. Jumping straight into a creek - Hey, it looked like a normal jump to me, who knew there would be a creek on the other side? At least part of the creek was snowed over. But yeah, really should pay attention to those orange warning poles in future
Top Ten Kodak Moments
10. New speed record down High Noon - Used to be my crew's favourite run, it's not too steap and plenty wide, this year it was soooo good, so much powder that you could just gun it down without worrying about any icy bits
9. Twirlies on Dream Run - Looks funny, but helps to improve fakie riding, much easier to do on steap runs I find
8. Riding fakie down Merrits - Riding fakie is like learning how to snowboard all over again... but getting better at it
7. 180's here and there - Did a few 180's off little humps, probably need more practice before trying it on a big jump
6. 50/50 @ Summit - Did some nice 50/50's off the thin rail. Hard, cause unlike fat rails, you need to balance
5. Nose/Mute grabs - So many jumps everywhere, so much air I could almost do anything while up there... Gotta go for some rotations next time
4. Riding the pipe - They turned High Noon into a terrain park with an awesome half pipe... nIIIIce...
3. Huge indy grab - Big air off spine @ Merrits terrian park
2. Hitting the fat rainbow rail - I never seemed to be able to get enough speed to make it, always slide back before
1. Hitting the thin rainbow rail - Harder, cause its thin and hard to balance on. SWEEEEEET!!!
Lessons Learnt
1. Moguls SUCK!!!
2. Orange poles mean "danger, do not come this way"
3. When the sign says "Beware of unmarked obstacles" they mean it
4. The faster you hit a rail, the less likely you will get hurt
5. Air is good, REAL good, bad thing is the landing
Now I'm all set to go again this weekend!!! YAY!!!
