The Birds mit RICE
A song to personify my disposition: Invisible Man (98 Degrees)
At about 8am this morning as I was approaching Bond St. via my normal route, I was suddenly attacked by a tumultuous magpie. My initial thought was that someone had just clipped me over the ear. My instant reaction was "Doh! Who was the fool, I'm gonna turn around and give him what for". But as I moved my head, a black shadowy figure passed overhead and perched itself conveniently on a nearby tree.
Lessons I have learnt from my ordeal today:
- Magpies can attack pple even in the middle of the city (I had previously thought that it only happened in parks and well treed areas. But apparently this one is famous, even having a stint in the newspaper. Many pple in my building know of it and have been attacked by it also)
- My instant reaction was rather un-Godly, which reflects the need for constant change in my character

In other news, I went to a boxing class at the gym today. My arms are so dead that they were shaking and I couldn't type properly. My partner was the doOd that sits opposite me at work. He does Tae Kwan Do, swims and goes to the gym twice a day. He's such a crazy doOd, punches way hard and is a bit psycho. Dunno if I'll be going with him anymore.

Other other news, RICE Event 2 was the best thing I have been involved in ever. Everyone did what they were suppose to do meticulously and with such great enthusiasm. Great to see so many kids excited for the Lord. Also 70 kids prayed 'the prayer' over the two RICE events which is so great. If only 1 kid was converted then our work would not have been in vain. But 70?!?! Wow, the Lord IS GREAT! Lets hope they all get followed up well.
A special well done to my ushering team. GO USHERS!!! We were da bomb, as Steve said, military precision, niiice...
Here are some photos from the two events.
RICE rocks cause God rocks!
