The Club has its Fun Day planned for the 16th October 2007 at Garvey Park in AScot. Our judge for the day will be our very own Patron Dr K. Cleasby from Shelley Vet Clinic 2007.

There has been a slight reshuffle in the Executive Committee, many thanks to Mr Vince Webster for stepping in at short notice and we welcome the offer of assistance from club member Nicole Sinnott.

The Royal Show is almost upon us and and we welcome anyone wanting to volunteer to video the shows events!

The AGM has been and gone with some changes to the Executive Committee. The club see's Mr Aaron Long voted in as Vice President and Mr Vince Webster take a place on the general Committee. We have a busy year ahead with ongoing changes to rules and as many saintly activities that we can fit in as well as ongoing fund raising to ensure the club account remains healthy. The Car Boot Sale is yet to go ahead due to lack of items to sell. If you have anything you wish to unload please let the Committtee know so that we can go ahead with this event. No funds will eventually mean no club.

Congratulations to Jester having made his TV debut in the Sunday Times advert promoting the 6 part series on pet ownership in WA

We welcome Grant and Nicole Sinnott to the exiting world of dog showing. This breed has sadly seen no newcomers that have "stuck at it" since 1993 and our breed needs dedicated fanciers if it is to continue to thrive in the future.

We hope to see many of you there as the new Committee is voted in and the club continues to progress and improve as a resource for its members around the world.

The Fun Day pictures will be posted soon and the rules and regulations are under construction with plans to have at least a framework in place by the AGM.

27th August saw the first Fun Day under the new committee. It was a roaring success with 23 saints in attendance and lots of general public. Photo's will be placed on the web site in the near future under the social functions section. The day raised approx $750.00 in funds (yet to be confirmed)

Sincere thanks go to all those that contributed either time or resources or both !! to make the day a huge success. The day saw the application of two new memberships and lots of breed info literature was handed out to interested spectators

The club has now added to its Infantory a handsome 4 burner BBQ secured for the princely sum of $20.00

The committee is considering some sort of social function in the beginning of December for the members but this is pending further discussion, idea's and time constraints.

We have another car boot sale in November so any members who have items they no longer want or need, please contact the committee and someone will be happy to come along and collect the said items. This will be the last fund raising even for this year as the Rules and Regulations need to be attended to in order to maintain and cement the high level of integrity of this club for the future.

The speciality event for 2006 has now been and gone, it was great to see some pet members in attendance and for those that were not notified in time, please accept our apologies.

Congratulations to all the winners and both judges were a pleasure to have officiate our shows.

Next on the agenda will be an all members pet day as soon it can be organised for a fun get together of all club members.

The 2006 AGM has been and gone. Fresh faces, a fresh start and a clearly defined vision for the club and its future.

The SBBC of WA Open Show was held at the CAWA show grounds on the 6th November. The event was very successful, the judge enjoyed her appointment and congratulations to all the winners. The next club meeting will be held on 18th Dec at the home of Mr R Hall in Beverly. All are welcome to the last club meeting for 2005 and a christmas lunch. For more info on the get together please contact the club secretary Rick Hall on 9646 1235

Congratulations to P. Hunter for her latest litter consisting of 4 boys and 3 girls born on October 2nd 2005. Their parents are Sire: Koolandra: Mick Molloy and Dam: Nyranda: Certainly Sumpin CD . CDX . ET. Pat is extremely dedicated to her work with her saints in the fields of endurance, obedience and companion dog and this dedication has reaped many awards for her saints.

"Berlin" is expecting again - yet another successful saint AI with frozen semen - is there no stopping Dr Metcalfe and his highly professional team of vets at Applecross Veterinary Center who specialise in reproduction. W.A. breeders are very fortunate indeed !! We also thank Applecross Clinic for their generosity when attending to the medical needs of the last rescue saint that was adopted out last month.

There are older bitches and a male saint currently available for adoption. For further information please contact any committee member who will be happy to answer any questions you may have about them

August 2005 saw the resignation of long term President of the club. Mrs J Jensen has held the postion of President since the clubs inception since 1991.
Mrs V. Kenning has stepped into the position of President and has a big pair of shoes to fill !!

A positive move has been to combine both the speciality CH & Open shows on the same day and endevour to aquire breed specialist judges in the future.
The shows will now be held in April every year.

A rescue success story!! "Saintly" is now settled into his third and hopefully LAST home. This boy only 2 years young, has been renamed Buster and is now enjoying the country life in Baskerville WA where its not too much effort to give him a pat !
